Salt Pig | Copper Flame

Bold and earthy, the Copper Flame Salt Pig brings both beauty and function to your kitchen. Handcrafted in my little studio in Ōhaeawai, Aotearoa, New Zealand, this piece features a fiery glaze of molten copper, with deep rust tones.

Designed with an open-mouth shape for easy pinch access, this handmade ceramic salt pig is a practical staple for home cooks and food lovers. It keeps your favorite salt close at hand while adding a rich, rustic accent to your countertop or table. The inside of the salt pig is unglazed to help keep your salt unclumped (wicking moisture away).

Made from durable stoneware and finished with food-safe glazes, it is as functional as it is beautiful and completely dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
